The Highfield Classic 460 is the largest model in the Classic range, offering significantly more space and versatility while retaining the rugged aluminium construction that defines the series. Measuring 4.59 m in overall length and 2.11 m in beam, it accommodates up to 9 people and is rated for outboards up to 70 hp. The generous layout can be configured as an open tender with substantial carrying capacity or with the optional SDS500 console to create a compact dayboat for family outings and coastal exploration.

Exterior

The CL460 combines Highfield's high-tensile chromated and powder-coated aluminium hull with a self-draining deck and heavy-duty construction designed for regular use. A large bow locker, full-length keel guard, lifting points, towing eyes and an FRP bow step add everyday practicality, while the brushed foam teak-finish deck gives the larger Classic a more refined appearance. Buyers can choose between ORCA® Hypalon or PVC tubes.

Interior

With capacity for up to nine people, the CL460 provides the most generous interior space in the Classic range. It can remain an open tender, maximising deck and equipment-carrying space, or be fitted with the optional SDS500 steering console and seating to create a more conventional dayboat layout. This flexibility allows the CL460 to work equally well for yacht tender duties, family outings and recreational use.

Performance

With a 20° deadrise and outboard power up to 70 hp, the CL460 offers considerably greater capability than the smaller Classic models. Its aluminium hull provides strength and confident handling for coastal cruising, while the increased dimensions and 55-litre fuel tank allow the CL460 to move beyond basic ship-to-shore duties and function as a capable standalone RIB.
