The Highfield PA860 is the largest model in the Patrol range, combining substantial carrying capacity, offshore capability and a highly adaptable modular layout. Accommodating up to 20 people in Category C or 15 people in Category B, its 8.71-metre aluminium hull provides extensive space for passengers, crew and equipment. Different console and seating configurations allow the PA860 to be tailored for family adventures, charter operations, diving, rescue, patrol or other commercial applications. A large-capacity fuel tank and powerful single or twin-engine options give it the capability for longer journeys, while its robust construction maintains the durability and practical character found throughout Highfield’s Patrol range.

Exterior

The Highfield PA860 combines a high-tensile chromated and powder-coated aluminium hull with a self-draining, anti-slip deck designed for intensive use. Heavy-duty rubbing strakes, a keel guard, integrated transom supports, lifting points and towing eyes reinforce its working capability, while a transom ladder and bow cushion add practicality for recreational use. Optional equipment including different console and seating arrangements, a roll bar, T-top, suspension seating, dive rack and deck wash allows the boat to be configured around its intended purpose.

Interior

The PA860 provides the most generous onboard space in the Patrol range, with a modular deck that can be configured for passengers, crew or specialist equipment. Different console and seating arrangements allow the layout to change considerably depending on whether the boat is intended for family cruising, charter, diving or professional duties. The open deck design also maintains good movement around the boat, while the helm and electrical systems provide a practical setup for longer and more demanding operation.

Performance

The Highfield PA860 features a 26° deadrise, a substantial 430-litre integrated fuel tank and power options up to 450 hp with a single outboard or twin 300 hp engines for 600 hp combined. Its deep-V aluminium hull, wide chines and large-diameter tubes are designed to provide confident handling, stability and a softer, drier ride in demanding conditions. The combination of substantial fuel capacity, powerful engine options and Category B or C certification makes the PA860 particularly well suited to long-range recreational cruising and intensive commercial operation.
