Exterior

The IY 9.98 Bellissima features a sleek, modern deck designed for efficient sailing and comfortable movement onboard. Unlike the more racing-focused Fuoriserie version, the Bellissima incorporates twin-wheel steering, an integrated bowsprit and elegant teak detailing in the cockpit. Its spacious, protected cockpit allows for easy sail handling even with a reduced crew, while the unobstructed side decks and carefully positioned equipment enhance safety and practicality. The clean exterior lines reflect the yacht's balance between sporty performance and comfortable cruising.

Interior

Below deck, the IY 9.98 Bellissima offers a welcoming and functional interior with two cabins, an aft bathroom and a central saloon featuring a dinette, galley and navigation station. Contemporary finishes and carefully selected materials create a comfortable environment for coastal cruising and longer journeys. Lightweight, removable fabric wardrobes and storage compartments provide practical organisation while allowing weight to be reduced when preparing the yacht for competitive sailing.

Performance

Designed by Matteo Polli and the Italia Yachts Design Team, the IY 9.98 Bellissima delivers responsive handling and excellent balance across a wide range of wind conditions. Its lightweight sandwich construction with fibreglass reinforcements provides structural rigidity while supporting efficient sailing performance. The yacht features a 37 m² mainsail, 32 m² jib and options for an 84 m² spinnaker or 105 m² gennaker. With a standard draft of 1.90 m and an optional 2.10 m draft, it offers a versatile combination of stability, speed and control for both club racing and fast offshore cruising.
