The Targa 23.1 brings the safety, seaworthiness and practical all-weather character of the Targa range into a remarkably compact 7.66-metre boat. Introduced as an evolution of the original Targa 23, its intelligent layout provides features normally associated with considerably larger boats, including a protected pilothouse, wide walk-around passageways, deep foredeck and an aft cabin that sleeps two. Available with inboard or single/twin outboard propulsion, the Targa 23.1 is designed for owners who value straightforward handling, dependable construction and genuine versatility, whether used for coastal cruising, commuting or longer days exploring at sea.

Exterior

Designed with safety and practicality at its core, the Targa 23.1 features wide passageways on both sides of the pilothouse, self-draining fore and aft decks, high gunwales and easily accessible grab handles. A deep foredeck and practical aft deck provide useful outdoor space, while the swimming platform and transom access make getting on and off the boat straightforward.

Interior

The enclosed pilothouse provides a protected and comfortable environment for year-round cruising, with dedicated driver and navigator positions, excellent visibility and practical seating. Below, the aft cabin accommodates two people, while optional equipment such as a galley, refrigerator, concealed toilet and diesel cabin heater allows the compact Targa 23.1 to be configured for more comfortable extended cruising.

Performance

The Targa 23.1 offers considerable flexibility in propulsion, with current options including single inboard engines from 230 to 320 HP as well as single or twin outboards up to a combined 300 HP. Depending on configuration, Targa specifies a maximum speed of approximately 34–39 knots, while the 270 HP version offers a cruising range of approximately 20–30 knots and fuel consumption of around 1.1 L/NM at 25 knots.
