Exterior

The Solar-E 78 features a striking contemporary exterior with expansive deck areas designed for relaxation, entertaining and enjoying life at sea. Interior

The interior of the Solar-E 78 combines contemporary luxury with generous living spaces and panoramic sea views. The main saloon features a spacious lounge, a fully equipped galley with a central island and a dining area for eight guests. Accommodation includes four guest cabins: a luxurious master suite with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe, two additional double cabins and a twin cabin, each with private bathroom facilities. Carefully selected materials, refined finishes and flexible interior styling options create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere for extended cruising.

Performance

The Sunpower–ALVA Solar-E 78 is equipped with twin 217 kW electric motors in its standard fully electric configuration, supported by a battery system ranging from 280 to 490 kWh. Integrated solar panels provide up to 26 kWp of energy generation, complemented by two 100 kW DC generators for additional power support. With a reported maximum speed of approximately 14–15 knots, the yacht combines efficient electric propulsion with the capability for extended ocean cruising. Its advanced energy management system and fuel-cell-ready design reflect a forward-thinking approach to long-range luxury yachting.
