The Sunpower Solar-E 82 Sail is a 24.90-metre luxury solar-electric sailing yacht combining advanced technology, elegant design and exceptional onboard comfort. As the larger model in the Solar-E sailing range, it accommodates up to 12 guests plus crew and offers flexible three- or four-cabin layouts, complemented by dedicated crew accommodation. Featuring a 135 kW electric propulsion system, integrated solar panels and spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, the Solar-E 82 Sail is designed for efficient, comfortable offshore cruising with reduced reliance on conventional propulsion.

Exterior

The Solar-E 82 Sail features a sleek, contemporary profile with a carbon-reinforced composite hull and expansive deck areas designed for comfortable outdoor living. The cockpit includes generous seating, a convertible sunbathing area and twin helm stations, while integrated solar panels contribute to onboard energy generation. An opening transom creates a hydraulic swimming platform with access to a dedicated tender garage capable of accommodating a tender up to 3.85 metres.

Interior

The interior combines refined finishes with spacious, thoughtfully arranged living areas designed for extended cruising. A panoramic saloon features comfortable lounge seating, a dining area for up to ten guests and a separate, fully equipped galley. Accommodation is available in three- or four-guest-cabin configurations, including a forward owner's suite with a private bathroom, complemented by two dedicated crew cabins. Individual climate control and contemporary materials enhance comfort throughout the yacht.

Performance

The Solar-E 82 Sail combines a 135 kW electric propulsion system with a 140 kWh lithium-ion battery bank, 4.8 kWp of integrated solar panels and a 40 kW DC generator. Its sailing configuration includes a 148 m² mainsail, 130 m² self-tacking jib and optional 152 m² genoa, with a 395 m² gennaker for additional sailing versatility. Built to CE Category A classification, the yacht is designed for offshore navigation, combining efficient sailing performance with advanced electric propulsion technology.
