Exterior

The Dragonfly 40 features a spacious dual-zone cockpit with twin helm stations, creating dedicated areas for sailing and relaxation. Four standard electric winches make sail handling and operation of the Swing Wing system straightforward, while the open transom provides convenient access to the water. Large trampolines add valuable outdoor space, and the kick-up rudder and centreboard allow the yacht to take advantage of shallow anchorages and even dry out or beach when conditions permit.

Interior

Below deck, the Dragonfly 40 combines contemporary Danish craftsmanship with a bright and practical cruising layout. Panoramic cabin windows and three flush-mounted skylights fill the saloon with natural light, while elegant Elm wood creates a warm finish throughout. The interior includes a spacious dinette seating up to eight, an L-shaped galley, a forward V-berth cabin, a generous aft owner's cabin and a separate head with combined shower. The saloon seating can also convert into additional berths when required.

Performance

The Dragonfly 40 is currently available in Touring, Ultimate, C Ultimate and C Performance configurations, offering different weights, rigs and sail plans to suit cruising and performance priorities. Depending on the version, the carbon mast ranges from 17.50 m to 20.50 m, with mainsails from 65 m² to 83 m² and gennakers up to 150 m². Dragonfly quotes a maximum speed of 24 knots, while a standard 40 hp diesel engine provides propulsion under power, with a 57 hp option available.
